Are you looking for accommodation or (emergency) shelter? There are often organisations offering temporary accommodation in your own region.
The following websites provide further information on shelter and accommodation:
SHOP, (partly in English), is a foundation providing assistance and care for sex workers in The Hague. Telephone: 070 – 361 47 47.
Salvation Army, (in Dutch only), has centres in a number of municipalities in the Netherlands. This organisation offers help if you have problems finding accommodation or debt issues; if you need to talk to someone, they will listen.
Asja, is a shelter in Friesland for sex workers up to age 23 who want to get out of prostitution. (You don’t have to live in Friesland to seek their help.) Telephone: 0900 – 567 56 78.
Humanitas, Humanitas Prostitutie Maatschappelijk Werk (Humanitas Social Work for Sex workers) in Rotterdam. Telephone: 010 – 221 17 15.
De Regenboog, (in Dutch only), The Rainbow Foundation provides help and shelter to homeless people and people addicted to drugs. Telephone: 020 – 531 76 00.
Scharlaken Koord, Scarlet Cord is a social services organisation that is active in a number of Dutch cities offering help to sex workers. They specialise in prevention, street work and social work. Telephone: 020 – 622 68 97.
CoMensha
When you are a victim of human trafficking, social workers in your home town can help you get into contact with the Human Trafficking Coordination Centre, Comensha (website in Dutch only)
This independant foundation organizes shelter for victims of exploitation and human trafficking. Anything you say will be treated confidentially.
